Aims
Electroacoustic music and ecoacoustics both study sound and soundscapes. Through this project, we aim at developing a transversal approach combining both disciplines. Visual representation of soundscape is used in electroacoustics and ecoacoustics to interpret data, run analyses and, for electroacoustics, to compose music. Here, we aim at associating ecoacoustics and electroacoustics to cross-transfer knowledge and technology for a better transcription, representation and visualization of soundscapes. We will adopt a research-creation approach by building a unique science-art project. We should participate to improve listening, understanding and preservation of natural and music soundscapes.
